Siamo a Rodi.

We're in Rhodes. Just passing through. Tomorrow morning we leave for the coast of Turkey just in front. It 's late afternoon and we lost in the the old town, the one inside the walls erected by the Knights. The island has been the crossroads of trade, armies, battles, occupants, peoples and their cultures. It is clearly seen from the contamination of styles and architectures. At the top of the old town stands the now unused Mosque Soleyman. Below, as the sun slowly turns on the warm tones of the sunset, I sit down to draw and think about Corto Maltese, which here walked its first steps in his adventure "The Golden House of Samarkand".

Then the night slowly takes over, and the city shows the best of his profile to the reddish sky and the crescent moon that rises high.
